The OG Returns! The Nike Air Penny 2 'Atlantic Blue' Drops in December

have been releasing retro editions of the recently, and up next is the ‘Atlantic Blue’. It was initially released in 1996 and was worn by in the 1996-67 basketball season. It has been brought back twice before this, in 2009 and 2016, and the 2023 edition stays true to its original design.
The upper is constructed in all-white leather, creating the perfect base for the ‘Atlantic Blue’ suede overlays that cover the eyestays, ankle and tongue. The blue appears again on the outsole and the Nike heel branding. This retro of course has the distinctive features of the model, including the extended ‘wing’ and the ‘1 Cent’ logo on the heel and tongue. ‘Metallic Silver’ also makes an appearance on the lateral Nike branding and a line that traces the outline of the lateral eyestay, which creates a reflective silhouette in the dark.
The Nike Air Penny 2 ‘Atlantic Blue’ is expected to release on November 25. Keep it locked to SF for details on this potential upcoming release.
