Nike are Releasing the Closest Thing to an ‘Antifreeze’ Air Max 95

The can be a bit cheeky sometimes. Plundering their decades-deep archive for inspiration often results in almost-there tributes that spark rose-tinted excitement for ‘heads who’ve been around the block a few times.

Take, for example, this upcoming . Very vaguely resembling the ‘Neon’ OG, there was a similar colourway in the late 90s called the ‘Antifreeze’ that used more white on the upper.

This is perhaps the closest thing to a retro of that OG flip. Using the same gradient execution, the white sections are closer to beige, and the lower half is darker too.

Compare them to the 1998 rendition below, ahead of this new edition’s upcoming release at Nike retailers.
