Nike are Dropping More Air Max 90s for 30th Anniversary
If rumours of an ‘Infrared’ retro in 2020 wasn’t exciting enough for you, are also looking to revive the silhouette by tweaking the shape, materials and colours. So far, everything is presented nicely.
Keeping it simple, the upper is predominately navy, with hints of silver on the Swoosh. On the Swoosh, notice that its ‘tail’ has been elongated and slanted more sharply. In recent years, it’s come out a little stumpy, but it looks like that is getting rectified.
Other interesting observations include shaded innards, as opposed to plain white or black. The black midsole highlight paint appears well-applied too. Hopefully, it doesn’t suffer the cracking issue like so many Air Max 90s from the mid-2000s.
