All the way back in 2004 – the golden years of – Tokyo titans put their spin on the mighty Uptown. The resulting colab was unlike anything that came before it. Nicknamed 'OnkoChishin', the make-up featured ostrich skin leather at the toe, gold stitch around the Swoosh and metallic green patent leather at the heel. With 2017 marking the 35th anniversary of the AF-1, 's Japanese design team have revisited the original scrapped concept and applied it to the with mita's blessings. The Japanese-exclusive release faithfully mimics the original design and is undoubtedly the closest we will ever come to owning this piece of CO.JP history.
