You Can’t Look Past the 20-Year-Old Nike Dunk Low ‘Silver Surfer’

Their multi-shoe online spectacle mainly unveiled a host of retro models and colourways that were primed to return. Alongside the , and , was a swathe of CO.JP and various rare Dunks that were primed to return. Kicking off the retro releases were the ‘’ and ‘, both from 1999. Now, the 2004 ‘Silver Surfer’ is locked-in to land this September.
After a subtle downturn in popularity, had an epic comeback in 2024, and Nike are piggybacking off the hype to launch this . Given the unofficial moniker of 'Silver Surfer’, this iteration originally landed as part of a collection inspired by the comic book character in the mid-noughties. Two years later, albeit unrelated, launched the 2006 ‘Fantastic Four’ pack, which payed homage to each of the key characters. For the 2024 return of the ‘Silver Surfer’, the crew at Beaverton has kept the latest pretty close to the OG. From imagery, it looks like the colours are slightly changed, and the insole will no longer host a graphic motif of Norris Radd’s face.
You can expect the Dunk Low ‘Silver Surfer’ to land on September 5 through Nike’s channels and select stockists.
