Nike Explain the Air VaporMax Plus

When it comes to sneaker hybrids there’s a fine line between homage and sacrilege.  are making their case for why the is the former.

As part of their ‘Behind the Design’ series, they’ve linked both models by comparing their impact on innovation. Each sneaker marked a change in Nike’s approach to midsole tooling, which in turn inspired strong followings for each model. And with 2018 being the TN’s 20th anniversary, there’s never been a better time to shine a light on the notorious Air Max Plus design.

In their breakdown of the model, Nike also picture what looks to be an Ultra iteration and a Presto-informed mid-cut. The first VaporMax Plus is dropping with more to follow around March 26's Air Max Day.
