The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro ‘Halo’ Honours Kobe’s Legacy

The Kobe 9 Elite Protro hit the shelves in high-top form in 2014, and was the first Nike basketball shoe to come equipped with an ultra-lightweight upper. The largely whited-out ‘Halo’ colourway comes courtesy of Vanessa Bryant, and was designed to be a Kobe Day theme that would honour his legacy each year. Needless to say, the pair comes peppered with subtle thoughtful details, like Mamba monogrammed overlays, and a ‘Halo’ tag at the interior of the tongue. The pair also comes updated with performance-orientated specs thanks to a Nike React midsole and outsole grip.
