The A.D. is definitely not a posthumous homage, instead it’s a reinvigorated basketball make-up that takes the best parts of previous Kobe releases and propels them into the future. After a metallic adorned initial drop, the newest model is treated to a more of an understated colourway. The sneaker’s engineered mesh upper is black while the outsole – housing a big serve of Lunarlon – is made up in white. Interestingly, the moulded traction overlays are translucent allowing us to view the sculpted lines of the midsole. Adding a hint of colour, the embroidered heel logos blush in a blood red hue.
