Nike Unveil an OutKast-Inspired LeBron 16 Low
2003 was a huge year for both hoops and hip-hop. Not only did make his NBA debut with the Cavs, but Big Boi and Andre 3000 made their long-awaited return with the followup to Stankonia, the critically- and commercially-acclaimed Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. That OutKast double album just so happens to be one of King James's personal favourites; thus, we have the 'Soundtrack' edition of the low-top .
The upcoming drop – which follows the All-Star release – pays homage to the album with a predominately black colourway that sees red and pink accents split across the left and right shoes as a nod to the album's cover. The cover also informs the heel branding, which comes in the form of a graffiti-like crown.
LeBron stans and OutKast fans alike can look for the LeBron 16 Low 'Soundtrack' to drop March 28.
