Nike are Bringing Back the 'Houston Oilers' LeBron 3
Back in 2006, and celebrated that year's NBA All-Star festivities in Houston with a special version of the that paid tribute to the defunct Oilers NFL franchise, which moved to Tennessee in 1997 before becoming the Titans. Those kicks have become one of the more coveted LeBrons out there, and were never officially released; instead, they were exclusively distributed to friends and family.
Fast forward to 2019, however, and the kicks are finally getting an official release. True to the OG, 2019's retro takes on the squad's signature hues, pairing sky blue with bright red and stark white accents. And, like the All-Star 3s that 'Bron actually laced up in 2006, these ditch the usual heel branding in favour of embossed stars.
The LeBron 3 'Houston Oilers' retro drops May 1 for $175.
