Nike Officially Reveal the KD 13

We’ve already seen of 13th signature shoe, and now Nike are giving us the tech specs and official reveal.

Looking under the hood, the inserts a further Zoom unit in the forefoot, adding to the full-length Zoom strobel carried over from the 12. The double stack not only adds cush but, most importantly, responsiveness, as the two Zoom units rebound off each other.

Turning to the upper, construction has been tweaked from the 12 too. Lightweight fabrics promise peak on-court mobility, while extra panelling on the mudguard and ankle add durability where it’s needed most. Finally, the Swoosh is slung low onto the midfoot, switching from a stitched addition to a mould in the midsole.

Look for the debut black and white colourway to hit stores on April 6, and other looks to follow later in the year.
