Nike Pay Tribute to an OG Colourway with their Latest Air Safari
has revived a beloved collaboration with their latest . This time, Nike pays homage to the successful Safari first seen in 2003. Interestingly, the original atmos version was inspired by the prints on the Air Safari!
Pairs will sport the same colour scheme and materials as the 2003 release. A canvas upper with suede overlays features a leather Swoosh, while the mudguard and ankle don the iconic safari print. Even the gum sole and teal Swoosh behind the ankle haven’t been forgotten. Major differences lie in the sole, as this pair is built on an encapsulated Air sole, unlike the visible bubble in the Air Max 1. Mini Swooshes on the outer toe-side have also been kept on the original only.
