Nike Revisit a Classic Rivalry With Air More Uptempo and Air Max Penny 1
are revisiting the classic Bulls versus Magic rivalry of the 1990s with new additions to the and Scottie Pippen’s .
The ‘Pinstripe Pack’ takes a look at some of the NBA’s most intriguing duels: the young upstarts Penny Hardaway and Shaquille O’Neal versus a redefined Bulls dynasty headed by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
Nike are working with retro pinstripe detailing for the Penny 1 and Uptempo, using typeface (‘1CENT’ on the Pennys; ‘AIR’ on the Uptempo) to emulate both teams’ uniforms. The Penny 1 comes dressed predominantly in Royal Blue, while the Air More Uptempo gets the classic red/black Bulls treatment.
