UPDATE: A release for OG SB heads, the High 'Reese Forbes' is on its way and landing sooner than expected. Nike have uploaded official images of the upcoming Orange Box tribute, announcing a release date in the process. You'll be able to secure this reworked retro on February 23 through and select SB stockists.
is celebrating its 15th anniversary in style, resurrecting another make-up from the OG 2002 line-up for a retro treatment. Designed by team rider Reece Forbes, the 'Denim' Low SB has remained one of the most coveted SBs of all-time – even without the certification of a colab cosign.
Like the '' and '' Dunks before it, Nike SB have switched things up slightly this time around by converting the make-up from a low-cut to a high. Otherwise, this upcoming retro looks largely faithful to the original, with the same frayed double denim construction, contrast stitching and attention-grabbing red outsole. With Nike SB having already brought us a modified version of the '' Dunks, could we see the complete 'Orange Box' line-up make a comeback in 2017? Our fingers are firmly crossed.
