Thomas Campbell X Nike SB Dunk High Premium (What The)
UPDATE: With such a bold design, we knew there was more to this 'What The' release than meets the eye. Turns out this Dunk High is the work of multimedia artist Thomas Campbell, who served as the art director on Nike SB's Chronicles Vol. 3 skate flick.
If the craziness of the shoes isn't enough for you, Campbell has teamed up with Atlas Skateboarding in San Mateo, California, to create a run of limited edition packaging. Only 100 pairs will be available in this special box and will drop in-store on July 1, exclusively through Atlas. If you can't make it out to their brick and mortar store, don't fret – you'll have a chance to cop online through on July 6.
If you're the kind of sneakerhead who cares little for packaging and wears your kicks into the ground, then you'll have a chance to snap up this release – sans special packaging – on July 5 through select SB stockists.
have gone all out on the bold new High Premium ‘What The’. Utilising a formula that was first introduced by the brand in 2007, and has since become somewhat of a trope among sneaker manufacturers, designers have thrown a handful of older releases into a blender and pulled out the mismatched marvel you see here. It takes a brave sole to sport such a bold pair of shoes, but it was Shakespeare who said, 'Boldness be my friend.'
