The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Pink Pig’ is Filthy
The shows absolutely no signs of slowing down in 2021, the industry-shaping silhouette still craning plenty of necks with some early teasers for editions that will be releasing next year.
Inspired by the Porsche 917/20 that burned rubber during 1971’s 24 Hour of Le Mans, the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Pink Pig’ is one of the prettiest renditions of the silhouette we’ve seen in recent times.
Not surprisingly, the Porsche was originally inspired by a pig, the eye-catching pink panels here adopted lovingly by Nike with blush pink suede. Given further visual hierarchy with red stitching, the ‘Pink Pig’ recalls the anatomical sectioning of the OG Porsche.
The Nike branding is solid as always, with accented Swoosh detailing and embroidered Nike branding on the heel giving the design an extra kiss of lust. Finally, the padded tongue again reveals the luxurious colour palette, while the insoles of course implement classic Nike SB touches.
The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Pink Pig’ is reported to release early next year.
