The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Safari’ Drops in for the Paris Olympics
The is without a doubt one of the most legendary designs in the vault. With its roots dating back to the mid 1980s, the ‘Safari’ design first took shape when spotted an ostrich-skin couch in a window display in New York City. Its buttery bumps were just the spark of inspiration that the Nike designer needed – and the rest is history.
Since then, we’ve seen numerous classic iterations, including the x Nike (2003) and the ‘Safari’ (2020). Up next is another in-house rendition from Nike SB paying homage to the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris.
Riding shotgun with the the Nike SB Dunk Low is composed in ‘Phantom’, ‘Black’, ‘Monarch’, ‘Summit White’ and ‘Chlorine Blue’. Manufactured in a classic blend of leather, the colourway features eye-catching 'Chlorine Blue' overlays – an obvious allusion to the City of Love and Les Bleus. Of course the iconic ‘Safari’ print overlays make an appearance, while Nike SB ‘Dunk Low Pro’ branding strikes the tongue tags.
Look for the Nike SB Dunk Low to drop for Summer 2024 at select skate stores and Nike.
