On-Foot With the Nike SB Dunk ‘The Wizard of Oz’

Despite the famous asbestos poisoning, near-death experiences and a toxic work environment, The Wizard of Oz remains one of the most iconic films to ever grace the silver screen. So, we weren’t surprised when it was leaked earlier this year that were crafting a themed around the legendary flick to drop in 2024.

This iteration also comes a decade after inspired after the movie paid homage to Dorothy's dress. The 2024 variant looks to be inspired by one of the most iconic scenes in the movie, when Dorothy was sleeping in the flowers with the cowardly Lion. Initially, leaks had alleged that the collaborative pair was set to launch in a ‘Ruby Slipper’ colourway, although it seems not to be the case. Special branding allegedly comes through on the heel and reads ‘no place like home’. Also according to reports, these will be an official collaboration between Nike SB and The Wizard of Oz franchise and host a wear-away top layer.
