Nike to Give the Kobe 4 the Protro Treatment in 2019

Following the success of the , are looking to give the Black Mamba’s fourth signature shoe a revamp in early 2019. Arguably , the 4 paved the way for the reintroduction of low-cut ballers into the modern game.

Rumoured to be returning in a ‘Draft Day’ colourway, the shoe's shades of teal and purple nod to the Charlotte Hornets, who originally drafted Kobe before trading him to the LA Lakers.
