Nike Update the ACG Air Nasu 2
About a year ago, debuted the , a new off-road model that contained plenty of retro influences, while using some of the Swoosh’s latest tech. After its quiet success throughout 2020, the ACG Air Nasu 2 sequel is primed for release, and it comes with a host of updates.
Given it’s currently summer in the Northern Hemisphere, this launch edition does away with the lining found on the winterised version of the original Air Nasu. Just like the Air Humara references found on the first Air Nasu, the second version loosely nods to the heel lockdown straps of the ACG Pocketknife – someone at Nike has done their homework.
The soles on the other hand are largely the same as before, except it looks like the outsole pattern has been tweaked to feature more chevron shaped lugs. And, it’s nice to Nike’s Sticky Rubber compound is still in use after almost 20 years.
The Nike ACG Air Nasu 2 is scheduled to release on July 1 at retailers like BSTN. Expect global availability.
