First Look: Nike Zoom Vaporfly 5%
are looking to take their running kicks to new heights with a successor to the and its .
Building on the Breaking2 initiative, the new kicks once again use the Swoosh's ZoomX tooling, but modify the upper dramatically. Gone are the engineered mesh and Flyknit of previous versions as Nike have shed even more weight with uber-thin ripstop construction. The translucent kicks, thus, have more in common, at least aesthetically, with the Zoom Fly SP, and come with massively oversized Swooshes to boot.
While a release date for the 5% remains unknown, we would expect Nike's new flagship runner to make its way to retailers very soon.
