Nike Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 'Team Red' Returns

Brought back from the archive via an iconic colab in 2020 before retiring again 12 months later, the Cage 2 is making its third appearance on shelves. First returning at the start of 2024 in a 'Metallic Silver' and 'Triple black' iteration, it's now making a statement in 'Team Red', which was first seen during peak lockdown.

The model pairs a mesh upper with silver synthetic leather overlays, bringing back the sleek, layered look that defined the original design. A crisp white sole sits beneath, housing a visible Zoom Air unit in the heel that allows for a responsive feel. Red details carry through the branding, including the lateral Swoosh and leather heel wrap, while contrasting laces loop around the upper to create a saturated, standout finish.

The 'Team Red' colourway blends rich tones with a clean base for a look that still hits hard today. The branding and tongue pulls stay true to the design language, with the tooling offering a more minimalist approach.
