Nike Zoom Terra Kiger (Flash Lime/Prize Blue)
Nike never really gave the back story on why the is named thus – the best guess we can put together is that it means 'land horse', because 'terra' in Italian means land, and a kiger is a type of mustang horse. So why would Nike call a shoe a land horse? Well, a horse can gallop along just about any surface without hurting those super tough hooves, and Nike's trail shoe the Terra Kiger is designed to do just that, offering a rugged outsole but not being stingy with the cushioning – a bunch of Zoom Air in there makes this a sneak you can trot around in all day. Unlike a gorgeous wild horse with a shimmering coat, the Zoom Terra Kiger ain't the prettiest thing on the eye, and it would take someone pretty special to pull these off in a casual setting – maybe you can be that special person. These were a exclusive first look, so no word on a release date yet but we'll keep you posted.
