The Vomero 5’s synthetic and mesh uppers are on par with previous iterations, and this one seamlessly blends in some sympathetic reflective elements to lean into the whole practical package. Bill Bowerman’s silhouette still appears on the insole as a period-correct touch – he’d probably be pretty stoked that people are still rocking the shoes today. After all, those Zoom Air soles are comfy.
An effortless mix of x-shades-of-grey means these shoes are almost impossible to wear poorly (and if that somehow happens, you can just chalk it up to dressing ironically). These Vomeros arrive at Nike on January 19.
