The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Timeless’ Is Full of Surprises

Appearing in a ‘Panda’-esque make-up, this rendition is predominantly white and grey with black Swooshes once the overlays are off. This Vomero 5 is set to release on April 3. The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 revival is well underway, and – just as initially intended – the early 2010s silhouette has hit the ground running. Now, following several sleek yet pragmatic colourways, including the ‘Oatmeal’, ‘Cobblestone’ and ‘Wheat Grass’, the Swoosh have revealed their latest iteration: the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Timeless’.

The Vomero 5 ‘Timeless’ borrows more than just inspiration from another sneakersphere darling, integrating panels from the Dunk Low for some serious crossover goodness. The leather overlays swiped from the Dunk Low appear in black and cover the heel, eyestays and toe box of this latest Vomero, fastening to the synthetic and mesh uppers via the lace unit. In place of the Bill Bowerman motif on the insoles, the Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Timeless’ receives a brand stamp exclusive to this release, with Nike’s logo appearing on the right and a decidedly Dalí-esque pocketwatch stamped on the left.

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Timeless’ follows the recently announced Dunk Low ‘Timeless’, which conversely incorporates elements from the Zoom Vomero 5 design atop the Dunk Low silhouette.
