Nike's new Air Force 1s Honour the NBA

Nike have linked with the NBA to bring you a new take on one of their greatest hardwood heroes — the Air Force 1. The sneaker has been fulfilling on-court duties since its appearance in 1982, but it’s never graced the game looking quite like this. The Uptowns in the 'Love for the 1' drop come bedecked with Nike-branded laces that crossover the forefoot, exaggerated Swooshes flanking the uppers and tongues with ‘AF-1’ writ large over the tags.

What really makes these sneakers unique though is the NBA’s seal of approval. The association’s official Jerry West-honouring logo features on the heel to further distinguish the release and unite two of the leading forces in basketball.
