Noah Try Textures on Latest adidas Gazelle Colab
are back with another collaboration, following their . Brendon Babenzien’s premium streetwear label has never been shy of bold colours and materials, as demonstrated on two textural editions of the Gazelle.
These particular Gazelles are also an earlier specification of the all-round model, featuring a much slimmer cut and low-profile midsole compared to the more common Gazelle 2 version. Though that likely won’t be the first thing that catches attention – see those prints? According to Babenzien, he’s used camo and cheetah patterns as a thematic connection to the African animal sharing the same name as the classic sneaker.
The camo edition is certainly not designed for hiding. Its pattern is bright orange with splashes of woodland green and brown, set on a not-often-seen canvas upper. Stark white midsoles and stripes up the contrast, leaving some space for Noah branding.
Meanwhile, the cheetah colourway is a very tactile experience, bringing yet another animal into the mix with pony hair (which is actually just hair-on cowhide or similar) uppers. Splotchy spots replicate the wild pattern, complemented by black laces.
