Delayed! Fragment x sacai x Nike LDWaffle ‘Light Smoke Grey’

Update: The Fragment x sacai x Nike LDWaffle ‘Light Smoke Grey’ (previously referred to as ‘Wolf Grey’) has been delayed in the United States, Nike SNKRS confirming a release on September 15. The retail price is locked at $170.

Chitose Abe’s sacai continue to pulverise the sneaker industry with their signature dual-motif designs, the Japanese label revealing epic three-way collaborations with the like of KAWS and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Now, sacai are tapping the legendary Fragment Design label (themselves recently busy with Travis Scott) for another ménage à trois – the sacai x Fragment Design x Nike LDWaffle ‘Blue Void’ and ‘Wolf Grey’ slated for release this month.

We now have an official look at the ‘Light Smoke Grey’ colourway, the clean, colourless rendition stripping back the palette to emphasise the beautiful design characteristics. Built with mesh, leather and suede, the mixed-material design of course again doubles down on the Swooshes and tongues, while co-branding appears via the tongues, heels and midsoles.

Look for the Fragment x sacai x Nike LDWaffle ‘Light Smoke Grey’ to land on September 15 in the United States. The retail price is $170.
