With the ',' '' and Justin Timberlake's Swoosh-adorned having dropped in quick succession, you'd think the Jumpman would need a breather – but you'd be wrong!
have big plans for the AJ3 to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Next up is an uber-limited regional exclusive celebrating South Korea's capital, Seoul. The special make-up was devised by Tinker Hatfield and Dan Sunwoo to commemorate the shared anniversary of the AJ3 and 1988 Summer Olympic Games. (Curiously the one Summer Olympics he didn't take part in between 1984 and 1992.)
The shoe draws its colours from South Korea's flag – known as the Taegukgi – which represents peace and purity. The flag features on the right tongue, the Jumpman on the left. On the back of right tongue is the 1988 Summer Games motto: '화합과 전진', which translates to 'Harmony and Progress’, while the back of the left features 'Seoul' in Korean: 서울.
The Air Jordan 3 'Seoul' will drop on March 10, exclusively through and the Jordan Hongdae store in Seoul.
