Official Pics: Carpet Company x Nike SB Dunk High
Baltimore’s Carpet Company has been sparking plenty of interest in the sneakersphere of late, the two brothers and founders – Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem – linking up with for their maiden collaboration, a neck-craning tear-away Nike SB .
Founded in 2015, Carpet Company have executed one of the most creative Dunks in recent history, including one of the best we’ve ever seen.
Composed in white, ‘Dark Sulfur’, ‘Coconut Milk’, and ‘Royal Pulse’, the experimental colourway is manufactured in wear-away blue canvas overlays.
Awash with idiosyncratic branding from Carpet Company, the tongue tags, heels and gum rubber outsoles all reveal the illustrative flair of the Baltimore skate company. Faux-aged midsoles deliver plenty of vintage vernacular, while graphic insoles are sure to please the skate crowd.
For friends and family, a special version with a metal oil canister outer packaging has been created, and will only be available in very limited numbers.
Carpet Company opened its Baltimore store for the release on February 20 and 21. A wider release is slated for February 26. A Stateside release will follow on March 9.
