Official Images: The Return of The Air Jordan 5 ‘Raging Bull’
After rumours back in September last year, we now have official pics of the ‘Raging Bull’ that is set to return in the coming months. This legendary AJ5 is a worthy member of our list of the , and was first released in 2009.
The design features luxe red suede with matching laces, while classic 3M reflective tongues, embroidered heels, and throwback translucent outsoles complete the design. The fiery colourway delivers extra bite thanks to the AJ5’s along the midsole. Original pairs of the ‘Raging Bull’ fetch a princely sum on the resale market, so devotees will be sure to snatch a pair of the impending retro release.
The Air Jordan 5 has enjoyed a in recent years. Designer Tinker Hatfield famously modelled the silhouette on America’s WWII P-51 fighter jets. Launched during the 1989–90 season, the Air Jordan 5 helped fuel Michael Jordan’s devastating aerial attack against the Motor City ‘Bad Boys’, as the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons locked in for a long and brutal post-season slugfest.
