A permanent fixture of the contemporary sneaker industry, sacai have been routinely lighting it up with plenty of high-profile collaborations, including the recent much-publicised three-way partnership with Jun Takahashi’s legendary label for the .
Fresh off multiple renditions of the VaporWaffle, sacai are now revisiting a classic Swoosh collaboration from 2019, the Blazer Mid getting cut for an eye-catching low-top rendition in 2021.
A supremely executed reimagining of a 1970s hardwood classic, we now have a closer look at the sacai x Nike ‘Magma Orange’. Defined by Abe’s classic cut-and-paste technique, the sacai x Blazer Low is manufactured with leather uppers and exposed foam liners, with the stacked tongues and double laces signposting sacai’s inimitable style.
Condensing the neck-craning design into the low-top variation, the Blazer Low was initially teased as part of sacai’s Spring 2021 menswear collection (where further colourways of the VaporWaffle were also shared).
