Onitsuka California 78 (35 Year Anniversary)
Onitsuka Tiger are celebrating the 35 year anniversary of the California jogging model with a limited release retro. The classic silhouette revolutionised running sneakers when it released back in 1978 by being the first to adopt reflective heel paneling, which was inspired by the rising popularity of jogging. An appropriate 1978 pairs of the shoe will release in a classic yellow and mid-blue colourway with commemorative details including a label on the back of the tongue with “1 of 1978” – an acknowledgement of the shoe’s limited edition status. It will be on sale from July 1, available from shops and selected stores worldwide.
