PUMA Bring Back the 1999 Mostro Boot With Ottolinger
Love it or hate it, the Y2K renaissance is here to stay – at least for now. If you had any doubts about the longevity of the trend, high fashion collaborations with OG sneaker brands are saying otherwise. Naturally a brand like has been a major part of the modern Y2K revival – given the timeless aesthetic of so many of their 2000s silhouettes – models like the have been very popular among the Y2K revival enthusiasts.
PUMA’s latest collaboration with Berlin-based brand Ottolinger will be welcome news for those fans, with the Ottolinger x PUMA collaboration reviving the OG boot. Originally released in 1999, the collaboration has seen three takes brought back into the fold, most notably featuring two colourways of the OG Mostro boot, complete with the knee high length and spiked soles. One pair features a black/red makeup, with the other predominantly gold. The third pair in the group features a mid-cut length boot in a black/white colourway with accents of red. The collaboration also features a capsule of accessories too.
