Overkill and adidas Celebrate Germany’s Football Culture with ZX 8000

Berlin-based retailer have just announced their next venture with adidas – a that celebrates Germany’s national football culture and history.

This fresh Team Trefoil collaboration comes fresh off their sizeable that celebrated Overkill’s mega two-decades in the sneaker game! Within this pack, the Berliners included the , and Spiritain 2000, plus specialised friends and family iterations. This won’t be Overkill’s first foray into the ZX 8000 either, as they’ve been tapped to deck out the silhouette before, namely back in 2019 for the highly limited pack.

The freshest Overkill x adidas ZX 8000 has been dubbed ‘Heimspiel’, which translates to ‘home game’, and it comes correct in a mostly white upper with accents in the German national football team's colours. Tied around the UEFA European Championship that kicks off next month, this drop is also just in time for the conclusion of the Champions League, where Germany’s own Borussia Dortmund will take on Real Madrid in the finals. Rounding out this crisp colab is the insole graphics that pay homage to the Olympiastadion stadium in Berlin.

Like many other colabs done by the Berlin-based sneaker stalwarts, the Overkill x adidas ZX 8000 is set to be limited. Pairs will land via the retailer’s brick-and-mortars in Berlin and Cologne and online channels on June 8.
