Overkill Put a Berlin Spin on the Reebok Club C 85
introduced the way back in 1985, and when it came time for Berlin's to team up with the sportswear brand, it knew it needn't look any further than the mid-'80s classic. Inspired by the division of its home city during the era, and East Berlin in particular, Overkill's Club C pays homage to the pattern-mixing aesthetic of the decade and takes cues from the city's wallpapers, tablecloths and floors. The result sees buttery soft leather coupled with corduroy, woven tongue labels, and co-branding throughout. The sector signs of '80s Berlin are even cleverly employed on the insoles.
Dropping alongside a corresponding apparel and pin collection (highlighted by a retro reimagining of Overkill's branding), the Club C is due out in store and September 23.
