UPDATE:  Overkill have done a good job at keeping us hyped on their upcoming colab with adidas. The latest set of images to make their way over from Berlin keep the excitement pumping with a high energy on-foot display of EQT athleticism. If you're thinking of picking up a pair then don't sleep on the May 20 release, they might not stick around too long.

UPDATE: The release date for Overkill's latest EQT endeavour has been announced, bringing with it a fresh set of images that provide our best look yet at this fine-tuned duo – and damn, do they look good! The Overkill x adidas EQT Support 'Coat of Arms' pack will release on May 20, exclusively through Overkill.

When it comes to the immortal   franchise, Berlin retailer  have more than earned their (three) stripes. The firm’s CEO, Marc Leuschner, has personally assembled the largest collection of vintage EQTs anywhere, earning him the title ‘Mr EQT.’ Over the past year, Leuschner’s stash has been featured in exhibitions from Seoul to Athens. Indeed, there is nobody on Earth better qualified to put their imprimatur on this top-shelf echelon of 90s running.

Bridging the chasm between EQT’s glorious past and promising present, Overkill have double-dipped into the adi-catalogue to produce these stunning sneaks. The colour scheme is based on the coat of arms of Kreuzberg, Overkill's home turf, and continues the straightforward approach to EQT colour-blocking. If it ain’t broke, don’t mess it up!

The pays respect to the granddaddy of the EQT Guidance – reviving the elusive ‘OG Red’ colourway from 1993 – with a make-up so on-point you’d think it was grafted in a SPEEDFACTORY laboratory. On the other side of the ledger, a BOOST- wielding Future Support reps striking grey striations and brazen branding across the mid-foot – our definition of a future classic!
