Bully Ball: Packer Bring the adidas Intimidation off the Bench
have been around the block more than a few times. Originally established all the way back in 1907, the retailer launched their next gen store in Teaneck, New Jersey in 2003. Since then, they’ve been prolific collaborators, and their latest project involves the Low. Already revisiting the niche 1999 model last year for the ‘Tech Ink’ and ‘Stone Grey’ editions, Packer’s low-top overhaul this time involves a stormy mix of hues coming in two colourways that are heavy on blues, purples and greys.
Belonging to adidas’ ‘Feet You Wear’ line, the Intimidation was designed to mimic the natural contours and movements of the human foot. Conceptualised by adidas designer Shane Ward, this futuristic model later inspired with a sole directly adapted from the Intimidation that initially debuted on the KB8 3. Built with a mix of mesh and synthetic leather, the Intimidation still utilises prominent TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) cage overlays. In terms of the engine room, the model is powered by the adiPRENE+ cushioning tech in the forefoot.
