Packer and Clarks Cook Up Crispy Wallabee Combo
have linked up with Originals on an opulent duo of the classic . After first being teased by Packer brand director Victor Kan late last year, the release is imminent. Nodding to the crepe-soled creeper’s long history of luxurious run-ins through a street culture lens, these two editions switch up the model’s standard suede configuration for something a little more upscale.
This arrives in the form of embossed leather made to look like crocodile skin – sourcing the reptilian hide obviously poses its own challenges, so this textured version is the next best thing. On the colourway front, ‘Maple’ is a tasty twist on one of the Wallabee’s core colours, while ‘Pink’ gator is a big flex. Both pairs arrive with double lace options in tonal colours – waxed flats and ropes – plus matching croc dual fobs with Packer and Clarks Originals logos stamped on top.
To highlight the new colab, Packer jetted over to Europe to shoot the Wallabees in the streets of Paris with an old Mercedes as a prop – a perfect pairing, TBH. The Packer x Clarks Originals Wallabees will be available exclusively from Packer’s web and brick-and-mortar stores (Teaneck and New Jersey) on February 10.
