Packer X adidas EQT Running Support (Micropacer)
EDIT: Missed out on the Packer Shoes release? Luckily for you, in NY have got a full size run at their Rockville Center location now.
and adidas have come together to chop and splice the retro runner together with one of the most outlandish sneaker schemes to have ever graced the streets. The adidas originally released 30 years ago – can you believe it? – back in 1984 to coincide with the LA Olympic games. A real vision of the future that harnessed a gang of technical componentry including the digital watch embedded in the velcro lace-cover flap, but the colourway is what rocked melons the hardest – silver kangaroo leather with hot blue and red highlights = unmissable. So with adidas celebrating the model's milestone this year at the same time as reissuing some of the greats from the early-90s EQT range, Packer Shoes saw an opening to pay homage to both silos at the same time. We saw the New Jersey-base crew do a similar thing last year when they flipped the schematic from the , they nailed the transplant that time around and judging by these photos it seems that they've done it again. Surely not everyone's cup of tea, but guaranteed to make some adi enthusiasts out there go completely Lady Gaga. Want a piece of the action? Hit up next Friday, August 29th.
