While many sneakerheads have remained largely unimpressed by the GR iterations, Nike are digging in their heels with a duo of Drifts coming through in collaboration with the Swoosh’s favourite football club, . While previous releases have been colourful and sleek, the PSG versions have taken the opposite approach with black, white, navy and gold palettes that feature a never-before-seen textured, almost woolly, material under the overlays. The pairs take on a home and away uniform, with the first iteration encased in an all-black shell with gold hits on the Swoosh, midfoot shank, and branding. It also features the trademark gradient on the underlay, with the gold starting on the toe before transitioning into inky black. The matching iteration takes on a white and cream palette, with PSG’s navy heroed on the Swoosh, shank, final section of the white and gold gradient, and PSG tongue and insole branding.
Both the white and black PSG x Nike Air Max Plus Drifts are available right now via select stores in Europe, with a wider drop on Nike’s channels expected to follow soon.
