Their work with Air Max line especially has seen the Amsterdam-based crew’s work go down as some of the all-time greatest. The most recent was the res-Air-ection of their , which followed their inventive ‘Wave’ series that sent the sneakersphere into a frenzy. Patta’s next colab is never far from the rumour mill, and the latest has just been leaked! According to a reliable source, @bubblekoppe, the ‘Wave’ will continue albeit on the this time.

Next year will mark the 35th anniversary of the perennial Air Max 90 silhouette, so this rumoured drop makes a lot of sense. Adding to that is the success of their first run of wavy Air Max 1s. There’s been no word on colourways or any leaked imagery as of yet, but we’re hoping the legendary 2006 Patta x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Homegrown’ makes an appearance. What we are expecting though is a very similar construction to the Air Max 1s, where the mudguard takes on a new wavy shape.
