Patta Take their Vans Vault Colab ‘Out In The Streets’
Dutch streetwear OGs are back in the Vault for a new collaboration. Their latest effort, dubbed ‘Out In The Streets’, is a celebration of British–Jamaican rudeboy and reggae culture, represented by two custom editions of the and .
The Chukka is an underrated model from the Vans catalogue, and here Patta make full use of its mid-cut upper to drape it completely in yellow ballistic nylon, which is joined to a dark green waffle rubber midsole. Suede hits and subtle Patta branding via tags and dubraes up the premium rendition. The ‘Out In The Streets’ motif is printed on the side of the midsole in red, tying together an overt reference to the Rastafarian flag, and also doubles as a homage to reggae artist Ini Kamoze.
Meanwhile, the Style 36 is a heritage low-cut design with links to the contemporary . Patta choose purple ballistic nylon for its uppers, contrasted by the black Jazz stripe and midsole. A massive Patta screenprint shows up on the heel counter for oversized branding. The ‘Out In The Streets’ motto is also applied on the midsole in red.
The Patta x Vans Vault Chukka and Style 36 will release exclusively at Patta on October 31, however a very limited early drop is set to go down on the Patta app a day earlier on October 30. Plus, they’ll be available from size EU 34.5 all the way up to 47, so they’ll fit almost everybody!
