Pretty in Pink: CDG x Nike Air Max 180s

Pink sneakers usually annoy me. The colourway is more often than not chosen to announce loud and clear ‘these sneakers are for women!’ But there’s something about these   – retro and eye-catching in all the right ways – that I just can’t resist.

Dropping for men and women, the colab offers three colourways dominated by ‘Laser Pink.’ Its largely the overlays and laces (coming in rose pink, white, and black) that distinguish each make-up. ‘Laser Pink’ nylon uppers and ‘Solar Red’ branding tie the three together in a harmonious clash of colour and style.

First previewed at Paris Fashion Week spring/summer 2018, x Comme des Garcons Air Max 180s have already dropped in Japan, and will follow February 1 at select CDG retailers.
