Primitive x New Balance Numeric 574 Collaboration is Ready to Thrash
Paul Rodriguez‘s skate imprint Primitive is linking up with for another collaboration, this time giving the iconic a skate-ready makeover.
The tan tones will suit the colder months up north, with the wheat-hued uppers constructed with thick suede overlays, and bolstered with a reinforced mesh base. Adding to the mix is golden yellow and black accents, which hit on the heels, as well as the branding on the midfoot signature N logo and tongue. Primitive print is seen on the mudguard – likely to fall victim to the abrasive griptape – with another callout featuring on the co-branded tongue badge.
As for the skate-ready upgrades, the aforementioned tongue receives a bulkier look with extra padding. Meanwhile, the sole unit is significantly more robust, with a hard black rubber shell construction around a soft black foam centre, while the outsole has a special traction pattern designed for enhanced control and boardfeel. Gold speckles are also a nice touch.

While release details are unclear at this stage, all social media speculation points to the Primitive x New Balance Numeric 574 dropping on November 27.
