PSA: Beware of Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low Fakes
The release of his ‘British Khaki’ is right around the corner, but the mega hypefiends will no doubt be more excited for upcoming three-way collaboration with and on the and . As with most of these highly anticipated drops, we do tend to come across fakes before the release, and these are no different. Shared across the interwebs, we've got a closer look at some of the more questionable counterfeit pairs floating about.
As far as fakes go, these are a pretty poor attempt. The most notable tell-tale signs appear at the embroidered heel branding, where the 'Cactus Jack' appears more like 'Cactus Jick' (LOL). Meanwhile, the traditional Air Jordan wings logo, or should we say 'Iordan', also has some clear imperfections. Look to the lateral side, and you'll find more questionable details.
Stay woke, sneakerheads.
Accompanying the high-top iteration, the official low-top design is built with a white leather base. Royal blue and black overlays are presented on the uppers, while Travis Scott's signature reverse Swoosh appears on the lateral side in cream tumbled leather. Cactus Jack branding is emblazoned on the tongue, and the signature stitched smiley face appears on the left heel. In terms of Fragment branding, a double-lightning bolt appears on the right heel.
The Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low should be releasing in the coming months. However, keep your eyes peeled for any fugazi pairs out there!
