PUMA Celebrates J. Cole’s New Album ‘The Off-Season’ with Dreamer 2 Colourway
Platinum-selling rapper has a lot to be proud of at the moment. Having just released his new album The Off-Season and made his professional debut in the Basketball Africa League, Cole and sponsor have unveiled a special celebration of both achievements: an ‘Off-Season Red’ colourway of Cole’s signature .
Worn during Cole’s Basketball Africa League debut, and also gamed by fellow PUMA player Skylar Diggins-Smith of the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, the sneaker is a bona fide statement maker. Highlighted with a fiery red mesh, suede and leather, the upper is complemented with black toe boxes, tongues, collars, and heel pieces. Additionally, the Dreamer logo on the heel works two-fold, nodding to the sneaker’s name and Cole’s Dreamville record, while more branding appears on the tongue. As for the tech, you can expect PUMA’s court-ready ProFoam cushioning in the midsole, which has been given an all-black look for a bold contrast.
The J. Cole x PUMA DREAMER 2 ‘Off-Season Red’ releases via the PUMA webstore on May 21. Expect to pay $130 for a pair.
