PUMA Easy Rider And Whirlwind
Two silhouettes get unearthed from the crypt by the UK’s favourite sneaker archaeologists, . Each sneaker from a bygone era gets rejuvenated with a modern rebuild. The first model to be revitalised is the Easy Rider, a silhouette that originally released in the 70s when athletic footwear made its way from the solely the domain of athletes to a wardrobe staple of the man in the street. The Easy Rider features a nylon and suede upper perched upon a multi-level sole and a PU wedge. The rebooted prodigy features a cone-studded sole in two different heights providing cushion and drops in retro-vibing colourways of green and black.
The second part of the pack, the Whirlwind, is a decade younger; originally breezing into production in the 80s. With a similar silhouette to the Easy Rider, the sneaker was built with a bumpy multi-traction outsole designed for training and racing on a range of typical cross-country terrain. The revitalised re-up sees the sneaker now flaunt some contemporary comfort in the form of a modern cushioned midsole and a woven PUMA logo. The Whirlwind will release in both red and blue versions.
