PUMA Resurrect the Fast Rider and Unveil Two Modern Updates
A German jogging classic that brought the fun of running to the streets, long-lost Fast Rider is finally making a comeback.
Originally released in the 80s, the Fast Rider was tailor-made for pavement pounders thanks to its state-of-the-art Federbein outsole, which took cues from automotive suspensions to absorb shock. 2019's retro releases offer that classic outsole along with a newly developed high-rebound RIDERFOAM midsole, not to mention the silhouette's OG nylon, leather and suede construction – complete with classic 80s-inspired colourways.
PUMA will also be celebrating the release with two brand new Rider designs: the Future Rider and Style Rider. Both retain the Federbein and RIDERFOAM tech while propelling the Rider line into the present.
All three silhouettes will be available beginning October 26.
