The PUMA King Indoor Resumes its Throne
The King Indoor has made a grand return for the first time in a decade. Originally released in 1999, the model was born from the iconic King football boot, which ruled the pitches for three decades before that. As the on-pitch version rose in popularity, so too did demand for a wearable version fit for the streets and thus the Indoor version was born. The studs were replaced by the signature rubber gum sole and it was off to the races. While innovation, new stories, and exciting moments keep the sneaker game fresh, timeless classics like the PUMA King Indoor lay the foundation and hold everything together.
The 2024 version returns true to the original, with premium black leather, a pitch-inspired lace shroud, and golden accents throughout. It of course features PUMA's recognisable Formstrip in a crisp white, along with the King's signature fold over tongue. King branding also makes an appearance throughout – letting everyone know who's back on the throne.
Whether you missed your chance the last time these were released in 2015, need a re-up, or want to try them for the first time, you’re in luck – the PUMA King Indoor is set to drop this weekend, December 14. They will be available online exclusively at before being picked up by other retailers in early 2025.
